The Evil of Silence – The Failure to Speak Out in the Face of Hamas’ Depraved Circus of Death

Nothing epitomises October 7th more than the image of a terrified young mother holding her 4-year-old and 9-month-old children for dear life, as they are brutally kidnapped by a bunch of genocidal maniacs, amidst a mass slaughter.

Shiri Bibas and her sons, Kfir and Ariel, were taken hostage on October 7th, as part of the worst slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust. Their fate was unknown and cynically exploited by Hamas as psychological torture. Oded Lifshitz, retired journalist and passionate peace activist, was 83 years old, when also taken hostage and brutalized by the “brave resistance” who to this day, supporters and enablers claim, only attacked “military targets”. 

All four were taken hostage and murdered in captivity. They were mercilessly taken from their homes and their loved ones. At the same time, both Shiri’s parents were murdered. Her husband Yarden was beaten to a pulp and kidnapped, He survived almost five hundred days of captivity in the most terrible conditions, and was released two weeks ago, unaware of the fate of his wife and children. To add insult to injury, and with a sick twist so inhuman and so tortuous to the family, the returned body alleged to be that of Shiri Bibas is in fact not Shiri. It is the body of an unknown Gazan woman. Shiri remains officially, missing.

A Macabre Theatre of Death

Yesterday, four lifeless bodies were returned in a grotesque display, a macabre circus of death, the latest horror show, courtesy of Hamas, a genocidal death cult that somehow still enjoys the tacit support of so-called progressives, human rights organizations, along with their cheerleaders in the West.

Hamas paraded their coffins, or more accurately, locked black boxes (for which they provided the wrong keys), in an obscene, morally depraved display worthy of the Nazis. One might expect that the sheer inhumanity of this monstrous show would have provoked outrage across the board. Apparently, this was too much to hope for in the upside down, morally inverted world in which we find ourselves. This horror was met with something truly worrying and chilling to the bone... abject silence.

An Hypocrisy of Evil

For the past 16 months, so-called Palestinian supporters, enablers, and useful idiots have bombarded us with condemnation of Israel, false accusations of genocide, starvation, intentional targeting of children and more.

Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and other NGOs have issued statements, reports, and tweets galore, all about the evil that is Israel, and the Jews, except of course the “good Jews”, a very small, but importantly, compliant minority, and of course the terrible suffering of the wholly innocent, “can’t do no wrong”, Palestinians.

When it comes to Israeli and Jewish suffering, however, not so much. When Jewish babies are brutalized, tortured, and killed? Nothing. When Jewish women are raped and mutilated, not a sound. When entire Jewish families are tortured and burned alive, not a peep. Just silence, an evil silence.

Red Cross Impotence

Why has the Red Cross, an organization that allegedly exists to safeguard the rights of prisoners and hostages, been so impotent in the face of Hamas' atrocities? Not once did it visit the hostages. Not once did it confront Hamas about their inhumane treatment.  All the Red Cross has done over the past 16 months, is comply fully with Hamas’ depraved theatrics in the release of hostages and serve as a dark servile “Uber” service, ferrying survivors and dead bodies instead of doing even the minimum to guarantee the welfare of the hostages and save lives.

Red Cross inaction and impotence, along with the contemptible partisan approach by human rights organisations, makes clear that when it comes to terror and suffering, Jews simply don’t count. Sadly, many non-Jews and non-Israelis who were slaughtered or kidnapped on that day, also fell victim to this moral failing, hypocrisy and Jew hatred.

Human Rights Don't Apply 

How many statements did Amnesty International release when Hamas took 251 hostages on October 7th? How many urgent calls for justice did Human Rights Watch issue when Israeli women were raped, when families were incinerated in their homes, when children were executed in front of their parents? They have had months to speak out, to condemn Hamas and its actions. But nothing. Their silence has been deafening. And make no mistake, their inaction is not passive, it is deliberate. It is complicit. It is pure evil.

While these organizations concocted accusations of genocide and war crimes against Israel, they continued to provide succour to the terrorists, giving them a free pass, lending them legitimacy, and completely ignoring Hamas' crimes, not just against the Jewish State, but against their own people, as they brutalize, exploit and sacrifice ordinary Palestinians. One had only to observe the degenerate behaviour of the Gazan crowd yesterday to understand that this is a sick society, wholly corrupted by a genocidal death cult.

Complicit & Morally Bankrupt 

Yesterday Hamas showed the world exactly who they are, as they and the Gazan crowd delighted in their sick and morally repugnant exploitation of the dead, those they kidnapped and murdered; a young mother, her toddler, her infant, and a peace activist in his eighties, there were no condemnations of the perpetrators of this horror. No outrage. No empathy for the victims and their families. No sympathy, no compassion, not even an acknowledgment of the victims and the horrors they have faced. There was nothing. Utter silence.

With this silence, with this refusal to respond, these “bastions of human rights”, “protectors of innocent”, “advocators of justice” and all round “moral superiors” have made their priorities, or rather their true agendas clear. They have chosen to align themselves with the genocidal terrorists who glorify death and revel in suffering. In doing so, they ultimately harm ordinary Palestinians, let alone Israelis and Jews who they have sworn to eradicate from this earth.

Observing this silence, witnessing their hypocrisy, double standards and moral decay, can leave us in no doubt. When it comes to Jews, these individuals, these organizations are neither neutral nor negligent. They are complicit. They are, to all intents and purposes, evil!

Their silence will damn them in history’s reckoning and haunt them to the end of days.
