In his lecture, award-winning filmmaker, writer and activist, Gary Cohen, blends personal storytelling with global analysis to reveal both the challenges and the importance of sharing Israel’s reality with the world. Drawing on his latest documentary film project, Garden of Life, Gary illustrates how intimate stories in the wake of October 7th can resonate with international audiences, allowing them to better relate, and empathize with Israelis as human beings.
